Database Woes

I long for the time when all database products will work in a remotely similiar manner!!  We changed servers at the Library and half of the products won't work any more.  We even had a case where two out of three products from the same vendor worked and the third didn't.  As a librarian, I dread getting calls from patrons who can't get into their favorite product and I can't troubleshoot it.  Bah Humbug – get with it, vendors!!
