My first article published – WOW!

Finally I’ve been published.  My mother, rest her soul, would be so proud of me.  She had always hoped my brother would be the family writer, but he died before he could fulfill that dream.  Now I have written my first article and had it published in Genealogical Computing.  It’s on digitizing local history for the web, a topic I dearly love.  This is one more thing I can chalk up in my list of things to accomplish before I hit sixty.  Having done one, I have this great desire to do another one.  Glutton for punishment, I guess!  Perhaps I will take a few months off to concentrate on my upcoming genealogy program here at the Library.
