Hip Hip Hooray !!

Holy Moses, I actually did my very first live, on-line web class this morning – and it came off without any major disasters!!  After volunteering to be part of a pilot project with Michigan Library Consortium, I had some pretty cold feet going into my first live session, but I made it and now I have part two of my class tomorrow morning.  Thankfully, I have a great trainer (Yay, Evette!) and some very patient and understanding students (Thanks, ladies!)  so I now have some confidence that things will go even smoother tomorrow.  These changes are a bit harrowing for someone of my “advanced” age, but I get a real thrill when I actually succeed.  It’s nice that I’m still asked to be a part of these new adventures in technology.  When the challenge stops, I guess it will be time to retire!
