Time to Hang it Up?

I don’t know if it is age, or the gloomy weather (rain for several days without letup) or discouragement with the state of things in the Library, but I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how it would be to retire.  Of course, this is just pretend time because I’m the benefits person in our family and I know I have to carry on at least six or seven more years until Medicare kicks in.  Or, we can win the lottery and use that money to pay for health care !!  At any rate, my friends at work and at church are happily planning their retirement and I’m starting to buy into their dreams as well.  I so dread winter coming, especially having to get up in the dark at 6:15 am and then driving home in the same darkness at 5pm.  Perhaps if it was always summer it wouldn’t be quite as bad.
