Ready for Digipalooza!

This is billed as a “fun” conference with lots of interesting people and lively places to go as a group.  I’ve never been IN Cleveland before, only around it, so that in itself will be a new experience for me.  What is Digipalooza?  Put on by Overdrive, it’s the annual convention/conference for users of the Overdrive e-books, audio e-books, and e-videos.  I’m hoping to come home a convert to these formats, since I freely confess I don’t use any of them currently.  Yes, K.P., gadget guru, queen of technology, prefers to sit and read a paper copy of a book.  I have yet to solve the mysteries of our two DVD remote devices, so I’ve never played a DVD myself.  I have great confidence that I can manage to download e-videos to my computer.  I’m just not sure I really want to watch them.

At any rate, I plan to listen carefully, take great notes, grab all the freebies I can at the exhibits, and come back ready to start downloading “stuff” to my computer, my MP3player, my PDA, and my smart phone.
